About the Role:

We are looking for a Supply Chain Associate to join our growing team, focusing on inventory management and managing shipments for a B2B beauty products business sourcing internationally. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end logistics of shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery, and maintaining excellent communication with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams. This role is based in Singapore and offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced industry with a global reach.

Key Responsibilities

Shipment & Logistics Management:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of inbound/ outbound shipments from international suppliers to our warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping partners to optimize shipping routes, costs, and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with import regulations, including customs documentation, tariffs, and shipping requirements for beauty products.
  • Identify and resolve shipping and logistics-related challenges, such as delays, missing goods, or damaged products.
  • Assist with insurance claims for cargo loss or damage by gathering necessary documents and information.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of all shipment details, including invoices, shipping confirmations, customs documentation, and tracking information.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on shipment status, delivery performance, and logistics costs for internal stakeholders.

Inventory Management & Team Support:

  • Handle daily supply chain tasks, including inventory management and coordination with internal departments.
  • Support the team by covering responsibilities when necessary, ensuring seamless operations during absences or peak periods.
  • Proactively communicate with internal teams to address any supply chain or inventory disruptions.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Logistic / Supply Chain or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in freight, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in omnichannel in beauty/ FMCG industry. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365, IWMS, GEEK+ will be an added advantage.
  • Familiar with MS Office, particularly in MS Excel (pivotable, lookups and formula).
  • Good understanding of Singapore's import/export regulations and international shipping protocols. Candidates with inventory management experience will be of added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues promptly and independently.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple shipments simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin (read, speak and type) is required as most stakeholders are Chinese-speaking.
  • Ability to interact with international suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams.
