Overview
The STT GDC Group Treasury team is an integral part of the Finance Department.
Group Treasury is responsible for ensuring the company’s financial resilience through effective management of liquidity, funding, financial risk, and capital structure. As a trusted partner to business units across multiple geographies, Treasury plays a key role in supporting STT GDC’s growth, innovation, and operational excellence in the data centre industry. The team works closely with internal stakeholders and external partners—including banks and investors—to deliver robust financial stewardship and enable the company’s strategic ambitions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a Group Treasury Intern, you will be primarily focused on the execution of core operational treasury tasks, gaining hands-on experience in the day-to-day activities that underpin the Group’s financial operations. In addition, you may have the opportunity to broaden your involvement in strategic treasury initiatives and projects, working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic, multinational environment.
- Manage bank account operations, including account onboarding, updating authorised signatories, fulfilling ongoing KYC requirements, and internet banking administration.
- Support daily cash management tasks, such as executing fund transfers, responding to capital calls, and placing fixed deposits.
- Assist in loan administration and documentation, maintaining oversight of debt covenants and supporting compliance.
- Support the preparation and review of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Support the management of market risk, with supporting roles in FX and interest rate hedging activities and settlements.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports, periodic Group Treasury snapshots, and board/management presentations.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, policies, and reporting requirements.
- Update, maintain, and systematically organise Group Treasury data and documentation.
- Assist and engage in other ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed, including process improvements and digitalisation initiatives.

Requirements
- Diploma in any discipline.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg will be welcomed
- High proficiency in MS Office applications is expected.
