As part of the OCBC Aquatic Centre team and reporting to the Venue Lead, the Assistant Manager/Manager will support the establishment, daily operations, and event management of our leading sports and leisure facilities. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, partners, and the community to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include:

1. Delivering professional service to hirers, internal partners, and colleagues.
2. Approaching work with efficiency, meticulousness, and a team-oriented mindset.
3. Utilizing applications such as EBMS and other relevant systems.
4. Keeping internal stakeholders informed of event details.
5. Performing operational administration tasks as required by management.
6. Supporting venue events and daily operations, understanding client needs, and ensuring successful event delivery.
7. Assisting the Venue Lead with operational plans and venue handovers, coordinating with partners.
8. Working on operational and service checklists to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
9. Managing commercial obligations to maximize value for Sports Hub and clients.
10. Overseeing staff management to ensure high service standards.
11. Collaborating with facilities management to ensure venue readiness, cleanliness, and maintenance.
12. Reviewing and updating venue SOPs with the venue lead.
13. Performing any additional ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Events, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• At least five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar, fast-paced environment, with a proven track record in managing projects, events, or venues.
• Experience in team leadership is highly desirable.
