Special Education Teacher

**PART-TIME, PERMANENT SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER****Requirements**:Minimum 3 years experience as a SPED Teacher preferred. Preschool teachers are welcome to apply;Diploma in Special Education or equivalent preferred, or Degree holder;Experience writing Individual Education Plans (IEP);At least 1-2 years experience using a curriculum;Team player, good communication and interpersonal skills;Dedicated, patient and understanding when working with children with special needs;Willingness to learn**Responsibilities**Develop and implement IEPs for each pupil and track progress accordingly;To plan and teach meaningful lessons;Prepare and use a varied choice of appropriate teaching and instructional aids to cater to the different levels of learning abilities in the children;Administer assessment tools to gauge ability levels;Write progress reports;Conduct parent-teacher meetings;Organise activities for events or outings**Employment Type**Part-time : Monday to Friday, 9:00am-1:30pmSchool holidays are in line with the MOE calendar.**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent**Salary**: $1,400.00 - $1,800.00 per monthExpected hours: 20 per weekSchedule:- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- 13th month salary**Education**:- Local Polytechnic Diploma (preferred)**Experience**:- Teaching: 3 years (required)Work Location: In person
