about the company My client is a large retailer offering fresh produce, groceries and household essentials. We are looking for a Facilities Manager to lead a team in managing the warehouse distribution centre, particularly cold-room environment.

Location: West, Singapore Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8.15AM - 5.35PM

about the job

• Responsible for managing all aspects of building and service operations, including utilities, maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance, ensuring efficient and secure environments.
• Develops and implements robust safety management systems, conducts regular audits, and coordinates with authorities to uphold high standards of fire safety and occupational health across all facilities.
• Focuses on improving operational processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards, managing regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement through regular inspections and audits.
• Develops and executes business continuity plans, manages crisis response, and conducts financial appraisals to mitigate risks and ensure organisational resilience.
• Manages environmental sustainability initiatives, promotes strong vendor and stakeholder relationships, and oversees various projects to ensure efficient resource management and project execution.

skills and experience required

• prior experience in facilities management of cold-room environment
• FSM certification
• leadership experience (risk assessment and planning)
