About the Role
The Project Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities for Midea Building Technologies (MBT) products and solutions. This role requires proactive business development, relationship building with contractors, consultants, developers, and end-users, as well as managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
Office Location: New Tech Park, Lorong Chuan
Office Hours: Mon-Fri, 830am-630pm
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the HVAC and building technology industry.
- Proactively source and engage contractors, consultants, developers, project owners, and end-users.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and business meetings with potential clients.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract closing.
- Understand project requirements and recommend suitable MBT solutions.
- Prepare quotations, tenders, and project proposals.
- Negotiate commercial terms and pricing with customers.
- Monitor project progress and coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Gather market intelligence and monitor competitor activities.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, project sales, or B2B sales.
- Experience in HVAC, air-conditioning, building technology, construction, or engineering industries.
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese, due to frequent liaison required with China HQ counterparts.
