Maintenance Technician

Job Description & Requirements

Responsible in performing preventive and corrective maintenance of facilities, equipment, upgrading, retrofitting work, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical and air conditioning system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Conduct daily routine inspection for building/M&E facilities works.

· Ensure Contractor comply with security and safety requirements for corrective and preventive maintenance works.

· Daily operational M&E activities, including ACMV, Genset, UPS, LT Switchgear, Alarm System, Access Card System, Fire Protection System, Water Supply and Drainage System, PA system, laying and installation of electrical cables and miscellaneous electrical appliances.

· Attending to technical-related interior works and faults, including Furniture, Carpets, Walls/Fittings, Ceilings and Doors/Glass Doors.

· Daily inspection of systems, facilities and conducting essential equipment checks and meter readings.

· Assist and supervise Vendors and Contractor Services in the premises relating to Corrective Maintenance and Planned Preventive Maintenance and Vendor briefings.

· Assist during project works and internal Moves, Adds and Changes activities.

· Assist in Annual Power Shutdown activities such as Fire Certificate Renewal, etc.

· Respond to System Alarms and deal with emergency situations.

· Assist IT Department in some technical hand on tasks.

· Write daily report, incident reports, assist to analyse the root cause of incidents and key in work order request forms into excel sheet.

· Any other duties assigned by Head of Operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Good knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical works/installation/troubleshooting and all other M&E works is a MUST requisite

· Must be certified Work-At-Height  

· Able to use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), training will be provided

· Pleasant personality, good working attitude and team-spirit, must be hands-on

· Testimonials (at least 2) from past 2 employers

Education Level

· ITE in Electrical/Mechanical/Air-Conditioning/Building Services/Engineering

· Minimum CoreTrade in Facilities Management (inclusive of Electrical)

Experience level

· At least 5 to 8 years of experience in M&E building facilities maintenance is a MUST
