COMPANY DESCRIPTION We are one of the largest one-stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore. We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling. RESPONSIBILITIES The Fleet Manager is responsible for the overall management, safety, competency and performance of the Company's drivers and fleet operations. The role will lead the implementation of a strong driver safety and performance culture, ensuring all drivers operate safely, responsibly and in compliance with Company policies, regulatory requirements and operational standards. The Fleet Manager will also be responsible for monitoring driver performance, investigating accidents and near misses, managing corrective actions, and providing management with regular fleet safety and performance reports. Key Responsibilities Driver Safety, Behaviour & Discipline Establish and enforce high standards of driver safety, behaviour, discipline and professionalism monitor conduct and ensure compliance with Company policies and traffic regulations. Identify unsafe driving behaviour and take appropriate corrective or disciplinary action, promoting a strong safety-first culture. Address recurring driver performance and disciplinary issues. Training, Induction & Competency Development Develop and coordinate defensive-driving and refresher training programmes, coaching drivers based on accident records, telematics data or performance concerns. Establish competency assessment standards before deployment, ensuring only competent and authorised drivers are assigned to Company vehicles. Conduct driver induction programmes and regular toolbox briefings for new, transferred and existing drivers, maintaining proper attendance and training records. Compliance, Records & Fatigue Management Ensure all driver licences, permits, medical certifications and competency records are valid, up to date and properly monitored. Prevent deployment of drivers with expired or invalid documentation, maintaining accurate and auditable records. Monitor driving hours, working patterns and rest periods, escalating fatigue-related risks to Senior Management. Telematics Monitoring & Safety Reporting Monitor and analyse fleet telematics data, including speeding, harsh braking/acceleration, excessive idling and unsafe driving patterns, providing regular feedback and coaching to drivers. Develop and maintain monthly driver and fleet safety KPIs, preparing regular reports for Senior Management and highlighting high-risk trends promptly. Accident & Near-Miss Investigation Lead or coordinate investigations into accidents, incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective and preventive actions. Ensure timely submission of accident reports and track corrective actions through to completion. Driver Welfare & Performance Management Monitor driver welfare, morale and working conditions, providing a channel for grievances and working with HR to support retention. Develop recognition programmes for strong performers and apply fair, evidence-based corrective action for poor-performing or high-risk drivers. Site Oversight & Continuous Improvement Conduct regular site visits and spot checks to verify compliance with safety requirements, driver documentation and operational procedures, following up on non-compliance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure lessons learned from incidents are communicated across the driver population. QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma or Degree in Fleet Management, Transport Management, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Safety or a related discipline. Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in fleet, transport or driver management, preferably within construction, infrastructure, engineering or a similar operational environment. Strong knowledge of driver safety, defensive driving, accident investigation and fleet compliance. Experience using telematics/fleet monitoring systems and analysing driver performance data. Experience in conducting driver competency assessments, training and performance management. Good understanding of Singapore road traffic, driver licensing and relevant regulatory requirements. Strong leadership, communication, investigation and problem-solving skills. Possession of a valid Class 3 driving licence will be an advantage for site mobility. OTHER INFORMATION
