Looking for Junior Finance & HR and Senior Finance & HR

Responsibilities

  • Prepare full set accounts by creating accounting schedules, journal entries, and supporting documentation for month-end closing
  • Manage fixed assets accounts and update the financial module to maintain accurate asset records
  • Perform monthly reconciliations including bank reconciliations and monitor accounts to ensure timely receipt of payments and refunds
  • Conduct month-end and year-end closings and prepare GST reports in compliance with statutory requirements
  • Support annual statutory audits, tax filings, and local statutory reporting by preparing audit schedules and documentation
  • Identify and report unusual transactions and overdue debtor issues to management for timely resolution
  • Assist in budget preparation, update financial forecasts, and perform variance analysis to support financial planning
  • Prepare monthly salary and commission schedules and process staff claims accurately and on time
  • Oversee HR functions by reviewing policies and monitoring compliance to ensure operational effectiveness
  • Perform monthly CPF submissions and manage government claims such as NS reservist, maternity leave, and childcare leave claims
  • Handle work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and coordinate repatriation processes efficiently
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and off-boarding processes for new hires and resigned staff
  • Provide administrative support including office administration, invoicing sales accounts, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects assigned by management to support business needs

Required competencies and certifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience for Senior Finance & HR role
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting or finance experience for Junior Finance & HR role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software is advantageous but not essential
  • Immediate availability to commence work is preferred
