SGD 9,350 – 11,150/month + permanent role + Telecoms Technical Lead — ICT Infrastructure / Design Coordination

On-site in Singapore — for an experienced ICT / Telecoms Engineer or Technical Lead with strong experience reviewing technical design information, resolving RFIs, coordinating interfaces and supporting complex infrastructure delivery.

This role would suit someone from a telecoms, ICT infrastructure, ELV/security, rail communications, data centre, smart building, airport, industrial, offshore telecoms or major infrastructure background.

About the role

DARA People is supporting the search for a Telecoms Technical Lead to support ICT / telecoms technical coordination across a complex multi-discipline infrastructure programme.

You will sit between telecoms, ICT, security, controls, architecture, MEP, structural and civil teams. The role is focused on reviewing design information, resolving technical issues, closing RFIs, coordinating interfaces, escalating blockers and making sure telecoms / ICT scope is properly integrated across the wider programme.

This is not a pure site technician, BIM modelling or cost-control role. It is a technical review and coordination role requiring strong written communication, engineering judgement and the ability to work across multiple disciplines.

Key responsibilities

  • Review ICT / telecoms design packages, specifications, RFIs and technical submissions
  • Provide written technical comments, evaluations and close-out actions
  • Coordinate interfaces across telecoms, ICT, security, controls, architecture, MEP, structural and civil teams
  • Help resolve clashes and technical blockers affecting telecoms / ICT scope
  • Review structured cabling, fibre, LAN/WAN, ICT rooms, network rooms, racks, pathways and related infrastructure where relevant
  • Support issue tracking, design trackers, document-control workflows and technical reporting
  • Escalate unresolved scope, interface or design issues clearly and early
  • Support best-practice implementation across converged ICT / telecoms infrastructure

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Telecommunications, ICT, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Systems Engineering or similar
  • Strong ICT / telecoms engineering background in complex project environments
  • Experience reviewing design information, RFIs, specifications or technical submissions
  • Experience coordinating with multiple technical disciplines or stakeholders
  • Strong written technical communication skills
  • Comfortable using trackers, document-control workflows, comment matrices or issue logs
  • Singapore-based with no requirement for visa sponsorship or a new work pass application

Desirable / nice-to-have background

  • Data centre, mission-critical, large campus, airport, rail, industrial or major telecoms programme experience
  • Exposure to RCDD / BICSI standards or working alongside RCDD-certified professionals
  • Experience with ACC, BIM360, Revit workflows, ACONEX, AODocs, Google Docs, SharePoint, Excel trackers or formal issue-management tools
  • Knowledge of converged networks, telecom pathways, ICT rooms, structured cabling, fibre backbone and network integration
