Volunteer Management Executive

New Lifes Volunteer Management team plays a vital role in building up the capability of the organisations ability to network, engage and retain its volunteers. As a Volunteer Management Executive, you are a vital co-labourer and co-creator in the teams effort to create a volunteer friendly culture within New Life where fulfilled volunteers are fulfilling needs. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Recruit, screen, and onboard volunteers in line with organisational needs
• Participate in Conceptualising, Planning and Developing strategies to build deep friendships with partners and foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Design and implement volunteer management systems and processes to network, match and engage volunteers
• Manage the roll-out of volunteer training programmes to strengthen capability, support aspirational and motivational needs, and create buy-in
• Work closely with departments to coordinate volunteer contributions on both department and organisation-wide levels
• Effectively handle communications with volunteers and internal departments on various platforms to optimise engagement and coordination

Requirements:

• Diploma, Degree or equivalent in any discipline
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, IT knowledge and skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build good working relationships with stakeholders, collaborating at all levels
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in volunteer management or community engagement preferred
• Understanding of social service or non-profit sector will be an advantage
• Able to work outside office hours on occasion, willing to move about the island and possess the resilience to handle challenges
