Quantity Surveyor

Our Client is a well-established construction Singapore firm with over 30 years of proven experience delivering structural and architectural metalworks across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare precise cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions for both construction and structural steelworks projects.
• Review tender documents, technical drawings, and specifications to assess project scope, identify potential risks, and highlight value opportunities.
• Perform cost analysis, value engineering, and cost control measures to ensure projects remain financially efficient and aligned with business goals.
• Work closely with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to gather pricing, negotiate terms, and address commercial matters effectively.
• Track and manage project budgets, expenditures, and cash flow, delivering timely reports and insights to project teams and stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings, conduct site visits, and support inspections to monitor progress, manage variations, and ensure contractual compliance.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering/ Quantity Surveying/ Construction or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years in quantity surveying, project management or tendering preferably in relevant industries (construction or steel)
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, material specifications, and advanced cost estimation practices.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities, with clear communication skills and the capability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
