Purchaser

Responsibilities:

  • In-charge of purchasing production items including machinery and forklift spare parts
  • To issue purchase orders
  • To source, negotiate and manage suppliers to obtain the best terms of purchase and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials
  • To monitor inventory levels and place orders to replenish stocks as needed while avoiding excess or insufficient inventory
  • To coordinate with production, finance and other relevant departments to ensure alignment of procurement activities and services
  • To maintain comprehensive records of all purchasing activities, including procurement requests, purchase orders and spending analysis
  • To ensure adherence to quality, environmental and regulatory requirements in the purchasing process.
  • Any other ad hoc duties or projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Diplomain supply chain management or any engineering fields
  • Minimum 2 years experience in procurement
  • Able to work 5.5 days work week (44 hrs per week)
  • Excellent communication skills, meticulous, resourceful, able to multi-task
  • Positive attitude, proactive and self-initiated
  • A team player with the ability to work independently
