Material Planner (North location)

Material Planner role in a top chemical company in the world, located in the North.

Your new company

My client is one of the chemical companies located in the North of Singapore. They are currently hiring a Material Planner. This role will be fully on site.

Your new role

• Managing customer order commitments based on material availability.

• Releasing process orders and PO schedules in tandem with production.

• Handling daily raw material replenishment and expediting as needed.

• Resolving order-related issues by collaborating with various internal teams.

• Partnering with demand planning to address forecasting discrepancies.

• Coordinating with manufacturing, quality, and distribution for order fulfilment.

• Working with quality and procurement to mitigate supply chain risks.

• Adapting to supply changes and maintaining operational flow.

• Optimising inventory levels to balance cost and demand. Implementing best practices for inventory management.

• Managing raw material and formula phase-in/phase-out.

• Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain planning.

What youll need to succeed

• At least a Diploma in Supply Chain or related

• At least 4 years of experience in a related role

• A solution-oriented individual who is able to work in complex situations

• High mix, low volume industry preferred
