Head of Engineering (Founding Team Member)

Were hiring a Head of Engineering, a hands-on technical leader who will work directly with a marquee founder to architect and launch our 0→1 product. Youll lay the foundation of our tech stack, ship the MVP, and build a lean, high-caliber team around you.

Key responsibilities:

• Architect and lead the development of our first AI-enabled product from concept to launch.
• Build and manage a small, world-class engineering team.
• Collaborate with the founder and cross-functional teams on product direction, user experience, and go-to-market strategies.
• Own all technical decisions - from infrastructure to model integration (OCR, Computer Vision, health APIs, fitness trackers, etc.)
• Balance execution speed with quality and long-term scalability.
• Champion best practices in clean code, testing, and continuous delivery.
• Help shape the companys culture, product ethos, and future leadership.

Ideal Profile

• You possess a degree in Engineering from a top-tier institute and have at least 8 years of software engineering experience with proven success leading lean, high-performing teams.
• Prior experience building lifestyle, healthcare, medical, or related products would be advantageous.
• You have a solid track record of shipping Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) digital products at scale.
• Hands-on experience building AI-driven products , especially using Computer Vision and OCR , is required.
• You have experience taking a product from 0→1 — MVPs, pivots, sprints, and everything in between.
• You can build with the future in mind, and have strong architecture & systems design skills.
• You are resourceful, action-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, and possess an entrepreneurial mindset.
• You are an excellent communicator with solid stakeholder management abilities.
• You thrive in fast-moving environments, love working with ambitious founders, and want to shape products that matter.
