IT Support Officer

The IT Support Officer is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support and troubleshooting for end-users at the Township offices. This role ensures seamless operation of IT systems, offers timely resolutions to IT issues, and supports technology adoption and improvements to enhance staff productivity and service delivery to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely and professional manner.

  • Set up, configure, and maintain desktop computers, printers, telephony systems, and other IT equipment.

  • Support staff with application usage, email, remote access, and data backup/recovery.

  • Liaise with vendors for warranty repairs, replacements, and system updates as required.

  • Perform regular system health checks and maintenance activities.

  • Maintain documentation of IT assets, user issues, and support actions.

  • Ensure adherence to IT policies, security protocols, and data protection guidelines.

  • Assist in IT projects and implementation of new technologies at the site.

  • Provide user training and guidance for basic IT literacy and best practice

Job Requirements:

  • NITEC/Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or other IT related discipline with min 2 - 3 years relevant experiences.

  • Possess knowledge of Microsoft office 365 applications, software applications and IT Equipements support.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good communication and stakeholder managements skills

  • Able to start immediately

Employment Type: 2-years contract (renewable) with benefits

Working Location: North-East (near Sengkang)

Working Days: 5.5 days (Office hours)
