Job DescriptionThe Role
We are seeking an accomplished HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic, entrepreneurial, and fast-paced brokerage environment on an interim basis. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will partner with senior leaders to understand their objectives and challenges, delivering HR solutions aligned with business goals. This broad role is ideal for experienced candidates with a focus on Learning & Development, Performance Management, and Employee Relations.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Deliver operational and strategic HR initiatives to enhance organizational performance, identifying issues and recommending solutions.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including developing effective resourcing strategies for Asia offices, utilizing direct sourcing and early careers programs with minimal agency spend.
- Oversee global onboarding processes, including drafting offer letters, managing visas, contracts, induction sessions, and pre-employment checks.
- Develop and manage reward and benefits programs, including pay benchmarking, compensation cycles, and reviewing benefits providers; provide analytics to support management decisions.
- Lead Employee Relations activities, handling disciplinary actions, grievances, absence management, and performance improvement processes, including investigations.
- Identify process improvements, leveraging HR systems to automate tasks and reduce manual work.
- Manage employee engagement initiatives through surveys, communication, recognition programs, and feedback mechanisms.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, continuously enhancing HR processes.
- Ensure compliance with immigration laws and employment regulations, maintaining governance standards.
- Coordinate global payroll activities to ensure data accuracy, collaborating with Finance.
- Prepare management reports and respond to HR audit requests.
- Support or lead ad hoc HR projects as needed.
- Create reports using Excel and HRIS, update absence records, and maintain procedural documentation.
- Act as Deputy for the Head of HR and support the London HR office as required.
- Promote a culture of risk awareness and compliance with company policies.
- Adhere to internal policies related to the role and activities.
- Proven experience in HR Operations and HR Advisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices in Singapore.
- Understanding of local employment legislation.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel and HRIS.
- Experience in financial or professional services is preferred.
- Client-focused, personable, and able to build engaging relationships.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Confident partner and advisor to management on HR initiatives.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Resilient, tenacious, and able to work under pressure.
