Finance Director (Specialisation in Chinese Market Operations)

A fast-growing international business with expanding interests across Asia is seeking a seasoned Finance Director to lead regional financial operations. This strategic role is ideal for a dynamic leader with strong financial acumen and proven experience navigating the complexities of the Chinese market.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive financial strategy, planning, and analysis across the organisation, with a strong focus on operations linked to China.

• Establish and maintain financial systems, controls, and governance standards that meet international and regional compliance requirements.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and risk management initiatives to support sustainable growth.

• Provide commercial insights and strategic recommendations to the executive team.

• Collaborate with local and overseas teams on cross-border financial transactions, taxation, and reporting.

• Serve as the financial bridge between Southeast Asia and Greater China markets.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are highly preferred.

• At least 8 years of senior finance leadership experience, including direct involvement with Chinese business operations or market entry.

• Deep understanding of financial regulations, business culture, and operational frameworks in China.

• Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with financial modelling, ERP systems, and compliance standards.
