We are seeking a highly experienced and strategically minded VP/Director of Global Banking Relations to lead our global banking and payments ecosystem. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building, managing, and expanding relationships with leading banks, payment financial institutions, and liquidity partners worldwide — enabling seamless fiat–crypto infrastructure, transactional banking connectivity, and robust regulatory compliance that power the continued growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global banking and payments partnership strategy, identifying and engaging top-tier banks, payment FIs, and infrastructure providers across priority and emerging markets.
• Serve as the senior relationship owner for strategic banking and payment partners, ensuring deep alignment, trust, and long-term collaboration.
• Lead negotiations and secure transactional banking, payments, and treasury services agreements that enhance operational efficiency, liquidity access, and global client payment experiences.
• Drive banking enablement initiatives in emerging countries, navigating local regulatory environments and payment ecosystems to expand global coverage.
• Collaborate closely with Compliance, Legal, Treasury, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure partner banks and payment institutions meet all due diligence, AML/KYC, and risk management requirements.
• Monitor partner performance, market trends, and regulatory developments, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Proactively identify opportunities for global expansion, optimization of fiat and payment flows, and integration of emerging financial technologies, including stablecoin use cases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in banking, payments, or financial services, with a strong track record in business development or partnership management.
• Deep understanding of transactional banking, global payments networks, and cross-border flows, particularly within emerging markets.
• Proven experience building and leading relationships with senior executives at local and international banks and financial institutions.
• Prior experience working in or with stablecoin companies or digital asset payment providers is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated success in structuring and managing strategic banking and payment partnerships, including within regulated or complex jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, compliance frameworks, and AML/KYC best practices.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive levels.
• Strategic thinker with analytical capability, able to translate evolving banking and payments trends into business advantage.
• Familiarity with or interest in the digital asset, crypto, and blockchain payments ecosystem is advantageous.
