Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, detailed, and modify complex layout plans, schematic diagrams, wiring drawings, and installation details for systems (CCTV, PLC, traffic light & Barrier, network backbone, radio system)
- Conduct site surveys to verify existing conditions and ensure design feasibility.
- Update and manage all project drawings, ensuring the late revisions are distributed to the site team and stakeholders.
- Generate accurate design, construction and As-Built drawings
- Draft, compile, and review comprehensive Design Submission Documents for client approval, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
- Author detailed Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Develop and write Testing & Commissioning Procedures—including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and Integrated Systems Tests (IST).
- Record and compile all test results, inspection reports, and commissioning data into formal Test Reports for client submission.
- Take primary responsibility for drafting the complete O&M Manuals
- Ensure O&M manuals are clear, comprehensive, and adhere to formatting and content requirements.
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
- Site supervision and co-ordination
- Conduction Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and Integrated Systems Tests (IST)
- May work at odd hours
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of project engineering experience, preferably on LTA or other large-scale public infrastructure projects.
