Role Purpose

The Project Director at TAG Singapore is responsible for the how. How the work gets done, how we are delivering work to the clients, how do we remove friction from the system in order to drive profitability by efficiency and how do we find the best solutions to support our clients business needs.

They are responsible for leading the delivery and operational execution capability within Tag Singapore. The role owns the standards, governance, performance and continuous improvement of project delivery across the studio, ensuring client commitments are delivered efficiently, consistently, profitably and on time.

Acting as the senior in market leader for Project Management and Delivery Operations, the Project Director serves as the bridge between Client, Studio Operations, Production, Resource Management and Regional Delivery leadership. The role is accountable for ensuring delivery excellence across all active workstreams while creating the systems, behaviours and governance frameworks that allow the studio to scale.

The Project Director is expected to move beyond project execution and actively shape input into how delivery operates. This includes driving standardisation, improving forecasting accuracy, strengthening commercial discipline, introducing automation and workflow improvements, and building a high-performing delivery culture.

Success is measured through delivery performance, client satisfaction, team engagement, commercial outcomes and operational maturity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivery Leadership & Governance

  • Lead the Singapore Project Management and Delivery team.
  • Own delivery governance across all active client programs.
  • Act as the senior escalation point in market for delivery risks and operational issues.
  • Create a culture of accountability and delivery excellence.

2. Operational Performance & Delivery Excellence

  • Own the operational health of delivery across the Singapore studio.
  • Monitor and improve key delivery metrics.
  • Standardise project management methodologies and reporting frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

3. Client Delivery Partnership

  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Participate in governance reviews and strategic planning discussions.
  • Drive improvements in delivery-related client satisfaction.

4. Resource Planning & Capacity Management

  • Partner with Studio Operations and Capability Leads on capacity planning.
  • Build forecasting processes and improve visibility of future demand.
  • Support workforce planning and talent deployment.

5. Commercial Delivery Management

  • Own delivery forecasting accuracy and financial discipline.
  • Monitor project profitability and margin performance.
  • Support commercial solutioning and delivery validation.

6. Delivery Capability & Team Development

  • Lead, coach and develop Project Managers and Delivery Leads.
  • Create capability frameworks and career pathways.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and succession planning.

7. Transformation & Innovation

  • Drive adoption of workflow technologies and AI-enabled delivery solutions across in market clients.
  • Partner with Innovation Lab and Product teams to identify and deliver optimization opportunities in market.
  • Lead both local and regional initiatives that improve delivery efficiency and scalability.

Key Performance Indicators

KPI 1: Profitability by Efficiency

Target: Drive operational efficiency to enable a positive operating margin

KPI 2: Delivery Performance & Governance

Target: Maintain SLA’s regarding to on-time delivery performance and full governance compliance.

KPI 3: Scope vs Utilization Variance Management

Target: Maintain controlled variance between scope and utilization data (ie sold vs actual) via operational oversight

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience leading project management or delivery functions within marketing services, creative production or content operations.
  • Strong understanding of delivery governance, programme management and operational excellence.
  • Strong commercial acumen including forecasting, profitability and resource planning.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Desirable

  • Experience operating within a regional or global delivery model.
  • Experience implementing workflow technology, automation or AI-enabled delivery solutions.
  • Formal project management qualifications including PMP, Agile, PRINCE2 or equivalent.
