About Next Gen Investors Endowment

Next Gen Investors Endowment is a Singapore-based non-profit dedicated to identifying, empowering, and inspiring the next generation of responsible investors. Through initiatives such as the Next Gen Investment Office, Next Gen Scholarship Programme, workshops, conferences, and community-building activities, we aim to make investing more accessible to young people and help them build the confidence, knowledge, and network to pursue meaningful careers in investing. The organisation has trained over 300 students, granted scholarships to 13 individuals, and run over 50 investment workshops and conferences.

On top of Singapore, we have presence in Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Shanghai.

We are now looking for a Program Associate to support our next phase of growth.

Role Overview

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys meeting people, building communities, organising events, and learning about investing. No prior investment or business development experience is required. We are looking for someone who is proactive, warm, organised, and excited about growing a mission-driven non-profit platform.

The Program Associate will work closely with the leadership team to support fundraising, donor engagement, partnerships, student and alumni community-building, and event execution.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Fundraising Support

  • Support fundraising initiatives by helping to identify, research, and engage potential donors, sponsors, corporate partners, and institutional supporters.
  • Assist in preparing fundraising materials, donor updates, sponsorship proposals, impact reports, presentations, and follow-up communications.
  • Maintain and update donor and partner databases, track outreach progress, and help ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Support the planning and execution of donor engagement activities, including small group meetings, investor gatherings, student showcases, and impact-sharing sessions.

Community Building

  • Help grow and engage the Next Gen community, including students, alumni, mentors, investors, donors, and partners.
  • Support regular communication with community members through email, messaging groups, newsletters, social media, and event updates.
  • Build strong relationships with students and young professionals, and help create a welcoming, high-quality community experience.
  • Identify ways to improve engagement across Next Gen’s student, alumni, donor, and investor networks.

Event Planning and Execution

  • Assist in organising investment workshops, conferences, networking events, student programmes, donor events, overseas trips, and community gatherings.
  • Coordinate logistics including venue sourcing, speaker coordination, registration, event materials, invitations, travel planning, and post-event follow-up.
  • Attend and support events in Singapore and, from time to time, in Kuala Lumpur and China.
  • Ensure events are well-organised, professional, and aligned with Next Gen’s mission and brand.

Investment Learning and Programme Support

  • Support student-facing investment education programmes and help coordinate with mentors, speakers, and industry professionals.
  • Assist with programme administration, student selection processes, scholarship-related activities, and impact tracking.

Requirements

  • Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of working experience are welcome to apply.
  • No prior business development, fundraising, or investment experience is required, but the candidate should have genuine curiosity about investing and passion for education.
  • Must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin, written and spoken, as the role involves communication with English- and Mandarin-speaking students, donors, partners, and regional stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and enjoys meeting new people.
  • Passionate about community building, education, youth development, and social impact.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and reliable in execution.
  • Comfortable helping with event planning, logistics, and on-the-ground coordination.
  • Proactive, humble, and willing to learn.
  • Able to travel occasionally to Kuala Lumpur and China.
  • This role is remote and you will be required to work on Sundays. However, you may take one weekday off in lieu.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is energetic, thoughtful, and people-oriented. You may be a good fit if you enjoy bringing people together, are excited by the idea of building a young investor community, and want to work closely with donors, students, investors, and partners.

You do not need to be an investment expert. What matters more is that you are curious, responsible, communicative, and excited to grow with the organisation.
