Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect materials, components, and services, including marketing activities and general affairs. Conduct market research and spend analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and enhance competitive advantage. Analyze potential vendors for accreditation and manage ongoing supplier relationships in Singapore. Negotiate quotations and proposals to achieve cost savings and favorable terms. Perform regular supplier performance reviews, monitoring key performance indicators such as quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness. Lead complex contract negotiations and manage the complete contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and supplier rationalization. Implement total cost of ownership models to evaluate procurement decisions beyond unit pricing. Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and ethical sourcing standards. Oversee reconciliation of procurement-related documents and evaluate suppliers' sites for accreditation. Provide training on internal procurement systems to stakeholders and manage ad hoc reporting and analysis as required. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Economics. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management. Experience in strategic sourcing and complex contract negotiation with proven success in achieving significant cost savings. Strong analytical capabilities to interpret market data and conduct financial analyses effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships. Proficiency in procurement software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment with a creative and curious mindset.
