Job SummarySeeking an experienced Network Technical Recovery Specialist to lead major network incident response activities, drive service restoration, and coordinate cross‑functional technical teams in a complex enterprise environment. The role requires strong expertise in network operations, incident management, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities- Lead major network incident triage, bridge calls, and recovery activities.
- Act as the primary technical lead during high‑severity incidents.
- Coordinate and direct troubleshooting across network technologies and support teams.
- Drive escalation, prioritization, and restoration decisions to minimize service impact.
- Analyze network events, identify root causes, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate incident status, risks, and business impact to stakeholders and leadership.
- Ensure compliance with incident management processes and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate incident records, documentation, and recovery procedures.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to enhance network stability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge management, and operational readiness.
Required Skills- Strong experience leading major incident management and network recovery activities.
- Deep knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, WAN/LAN, and network security.
- Expertise in network troubleshooting, monitoring, and log analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in high‑pressure, mission‑critical environments.
- Experience working with incident management and service management frameworks.
Preferred Skills- Knowledge of SDN, cloud networking, and software‑defined infrastructure.
- Experience with network automation using Python, Ansible, or APIs.
- Familiarity with Agile tools and collaboration platforms.
- Exposure to network configuration, topology, and modeling tools.
- Experience in highly regulated enterprise environments.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Network Operations, Network Engineering, or Major Incident Management.
- Proven track record of leading critical incident response and service restoration efforts.
- Relevant networking certifications are preferred (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent).
