Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose clients physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based and effective physiotherapy treatments, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with UFITs multidisciplinary team to create integrated treatment plans and improve overall client outcomes through the Circle of Care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and timely reporting of client progress to doctors and insurance providers in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
• Participate in team meetings & events and continuing professional development (CPD) activities.
• Provision of physiotherapy care to UFIT-sponsored sports teams or at UFIT-sponsored sports events.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols, maintaining a safe, clean, and professional environment for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Physiotherapy from an institution recognized by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), or passed the AHPC Qualifying Examination.
• Licensing: Full registration with AHPC.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Pitchside coverage experience and any additional qualifications in strength & conditioning is advantageous.

Skills

• Knowledge and experience of a wide range of musculoskeletal assessment and treatment approaches for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Strong hands-on treatment skills and knowledge of physiotherapy modalities (manual therapy, exercise prescription, dry needling, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and build rapport.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
