Manager, Media Relations (Healthcare)

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and lead internal and external communications deliverables such as internal EDMs, feature stories, video-interviews etc. to drive brand awareness and increase mindshare.
• Plan and coordinate stakeholder engagement sessions and where necessary - to develop public facing letters and manage a reasonable amount of public feedback.
• Support key stakeholders in the delivery of corporate initiatives.
• Support the planning and execution of campaigns, events and initiatives.
• Prepare and draft press materials, speeches, feature articles, letters and announcements.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree in Mass Communications, Public relations or related field
• At least 6 years of relevant work experience, preferably with project management experience
• Familiar with media, project, campaign and event management
• Able to facilitate Stakeholder engagement sessions to be useful and productive.
• Good documentation skills to ensure discussions are properly recorded for future reference.
• Enthusiasm in healthcare planning topics and issues so as to identify newsy story angles for publicity
• Strong linguistic capabilities, and ability to write papers for approval when required.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
