You will be part of the team of metabolic screeners who is responsible for the timely collection of blood specimens by heel prick from newborns, recalling patients for repeat samples as requested by the metabolic screening laboratory and explaining newborn metabolic screening tests to the parents. You will coordinate with metabolic physicians, work closely with ward staff, clinicians and laboratory staff to achieve total quality service and customer satisfaction. Training will be provided.
Requirements:
. GCE O / N / A or NITEC / Higher NITEC. Phlebotomy certification is a plus.
. Some experience in phlebotomy work or nursing will be an advantage.
Training will be provided for candidates with keen interest in this field and possess good learning attitude.
Work Schedule:
. 5-day workweek. Work schedule for each working day is 8 am to 5.30 pm.
. Required to work on weekends and PH as rostered.
