Our client, a prominent global MNC, is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to join their dynamic Human Resources team in Singapore during a time of exciting transformation.

In this role, you will be instrumental in providing strategic HR guidance and support to enhance employee engagement, streamline HR processes, and ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.

Most importantly, you will act as a trusted advisor and provide strategic HR support to both senior management and employees, driving initiatives that promote a positive and productive work environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to Senior Management on complex HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution and organizational and culture development.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns and conflicts, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Conduct investigations into employee grievances and recommend appropriate actions to resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Work alongside the HR Manager with salary reviews and talent and performance management.
  • Support recruitment efforts by providing guidance on job descriptions, interview processes, and candidate evaluations.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
  • Identify training needs and recommend development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Facilitate training sessions on HR-related topics and best practices.
  • Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare and present reports on HR activities, including turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and other key performance indicators.
  • Lead or participate in HR projects aimed at improving HR processes and systems.
  • Manage change initiatives and support organizational development efforts.

Requirements:

  • ABachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and HR certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a HR Business Partnering or HR advisory role from within a recognised MNC.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, managing performance and conflict resolution at senior level, and all-round HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing HR issues.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal attributes include ahigh level of integrity and confidentiality, strong analytical and decision-making skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team as well as adaptability and a positive attitude towards change.
