About The Role

Our client is a high-growth, technology-led SME organisation undergoing a phase of regional expansion and capability build-out across Asia. Backed by strong leadership and a clear commercial strategy, the business is investing heavily in its people agenda to support scale, innovation, and long-term performance.

Base salary $200-220k + Benefits

They are now looking to appoint a Head of Human Resources to lead the HR function and partner closely with senior leadership to shape and deliver a progressive people strategy across the region.

Reporting directly to the MD, this role will lead the end-to-end HR agenda, balancing both strategic leadership and hands-on execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Summary of the role and key responsibilities

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on all people-related matters, including organisational design, workforce planning, and culture
  • Leading and evolving the HR function across Business Partnering and key Centres of Excellence (Talent, Learning, Rewards, HR Operations)
  • Driving performance, engagement, and capability across a growing, diverse workforce
  • Building scalable HR frameworks, processes, and policies to support regional expansion
  • Partnering closely with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategy, employer branding, and workforce planning
  • Leading organisational change and transformation initiatives aligned to business growth
  • Overseeing employee relations, governance, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Developing and mentoring a high-performing HR team

Key skills required

  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within high-growth technology or digital businesses with APAC or Global experience
  • Proven experience operating at a senior leadership level, with strong business partnering capability
  • Track record of building and scaling HR functions in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate business strategy into people outcomes
  • Experience across multiple Asian markets is highly advantageous
  • Hands-on, pragmatic, and comfortable operating in a build environment
