Job Summary

Support financial operations through accurate monthly closing, account reconciliations, tax assistance, and cashflow monitoring during a 6-month contract. Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain accounting records and support audits.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly closing activities by preparing journals to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review account reconciliations and financial schedules to maintain ledger accuracy
• Maintain the chart of accounts and support statutory accounts and XBRL filing requirements
• Provide audit and insurance renewal support by coordinating documentation and responses
• Review sales and purchase ledgers to verify transaction accuracy and completeness
• Support intercompany billings and reconcile debtor and vendor accounts to ensure balanced records
• Prepare commissions, payroll journals, and vendor payments to facilitate timely disbursements
• Assist with GST submissions and perform reconciliation tests to ensure compliance
• Prepare tax and deferred tax workings to support corporate tax computations
• Collaborate with Head Office and tax consultants to support corporate tax filings
• Maintain fixed asset register and capital expenditure records to track company assets
• Prepare costing for demo registrations to support financial planning
• Monitor daily cashflow and update reports to provide accurate liquidity status
• Liaise with financial institutions on account management, signatory updates, and funding matters
• Provide guidance to shared services and operations teams on daily accounting matters to ensure compliance and accuracy

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' experience in related accounting or finance roles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
