Job Title: AVP/VP, Sales and Trading Governance-Centre of Excellence, Chief Operating, Digital Business & Strategy, GFM
Job Responsibilities: - Define, oversee, and strengthen the governance framework, principles, and processes for Sales and Trading activities and practices within the Global Financial Markets (GFM). - Ensure robust policies, control designs, and monitoring mechanisms are in place, aligning with regulatory requirements and internal standards. - Enforce Groupwide GFM best practices and ensure alignment across headquarters and locations, where relevant and applicable. - Support or lead regular reviews and updates on governance frameworks and controls to address new or emerging risks and market developments. - Support or lead relevant workstreams in both tactical and strategic builds of new automated, digital, AI/GenAI solutions to enhance governance within GFM. - Partner with GFM desks, regional COD, and support units, including Finance, Legal & Compliance, Credit, Market and Liquidity Risk Management, Technology, and Operations teams, to define and drive strategic transformation and continuous enhancements. - Develop and strengthen knowledge in the team and build up the enterprise knowledge base while keeping abreast of the latest regulations, trends, practices, and opportunities.
Education and Experience Information: - Bachelor's degree in accountancy, law, finance, economics, risk management, or a related field. - Good knowledge of GFM financial products, sales and trading processes and controls, or GFM-related regulations in Singapore is highly desirable. - Experience in innovative, technology-based solutioning, transformation, or implementation of risk management and governance controls and processes is highly desirable. - Proven stakeholder management experience with cross-functional teams. - Proven track record on risk governance frameworks and regulatory controls. - Working knowledge of GFM-related regulations in core locations: HK, China, Taiwan, India, and Indonesia markets. - Familiarity with MUREX, journey thinking, 4D design framework, Gen AI, machine learning, data-driven decision-making, and data visualization. - Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with a passion for continuous learning. - Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.
