The Assistant Manager helps to support the effective day-to-day operations of the Centre. These might include staff supervision, administrative tasks, and other operational tasks.
Job Responsibilities
Staff Supervision:
Update the manager on clients’ progress and development
Supervise staff in their collaboration with Psychological Services and schools’ SEN-O on case management
Oversee Kids Club programmes
Mentor newer teachers
Any other assigned duties and responsibilities
Centre Operations & Administration:
Assist the Manager in the day-to-day running of the Centre
Manage class schedules
Assist in enrolment and placement process
Assist in planning, implementing and evaluating programmes and activities
Assist in reporting to Senior Management/ Funders
Handle students’ administrative matters
Job Requirements:
Available to work on Saturdays (40 hours work week)
Sound theoretical understanding of child development
Experience with working with children with diverse developmental profiles
Preferably trained in the OG approach
Some experience in managing and supervising a diverse staff team
Passionate about working with children with learning needs
Good command of the English language, preferably bilingual
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to collaborate with corporate partners, schools and hospitals
Degree, preferably in psychology, early childhood education or special needs education
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT knowledge and skills
