Role Summary

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth within the semiconductor industry. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the adoption of Legrand solutions across semiconductor manufacturers, fabs, and related ecosystem partners. The ideal candidate brings strong industry knowledge, technical understanding of Medium Voltage & Low Voltage power systems, smart building & manufacturing, energy efficiency and a proven track record in B2B sales within high-tech or semiconductor sectors.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the semiconductor industry, including fabs, OSATs, and equipment manufacturers.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate target accounts and segments.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
• Lead the efforts of product & system specifications with semiconductor end users and consultants, to ensure Legrand solutions are successfully specified in upcoming tenders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, and executive teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts within the semiconductor sector.
• Understand customer technical requirements and align them with Legrand solution offerings.
• Drive full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
• Work closely with internal engineering and product teams to tailor solutions for semiconductor applications.
• Translate customer needs into product requirements and feedback for R&D.
• Monitor competitor activities and industry developments.
• Provide insights to refine product positioning and go-to-market strategies.

Role Requirements

• Possess a bachelor’s degree and above in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Business or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 – 10 years of working experiences in business development, sales, or key account management within the semiconductor or related high-tech industries.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing process and ecosystem is a must.
• Strong technical knowledge of Medium & Low Voltage power system, smart buildings and energy efficiency are highly encouraged.
• Practical approach of business strategy with growth mindset to drive organizational transformation.
• Be result-driven with strong interpersonal and influencing skills to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to get their buy-in.
• Able to work in complex and dynamic environment to navigate the journey.
• Good understanding of P&L is an absolute advantage.
• Proficient in salesforces CRM tool.
