The Merchant Success Team is responsible for ensuring that KPay merchants are successfully activated, retained, and grown profitably after onboarding.

This role owns the post-sign lifecycle of merchants — from first transaction to long-term usage — and is accountable for reducing churn, increasing adoption, and protecting net take margin through strong operational execution and merchant experience design.

This is a commercial-ops leadership role, not a support role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive high-quality activation of new merchants within the first 14 days
• Reduce merchant churn and dormancy
• Increase merchant usage, GPV, and product adoption through successful upselling
• Ensure merchant success is delivered efficiently and at scale
• Act as the internal voice of merchants to improve product, ops, and service

Key Requirements:

• 5 years experience in Payments, fintech, POS, SaaS, or platform businesses
• Proven experience owning Merchant or customer success at scale
• Skilled in Retention and Usage metrics
• Experience managing teams and operational workflows
• Strong operational and analytical mindset
• Commercially grounded — understands margin and cost-to-serve
• Data-driven decision maker
• Excellent cross-functional communicator
• Calm under pressure, able to manage escalations
• Structured thinker who can build playbooks and processes
