Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture for a system and ensure the detailed design and development aligns with the Customer’s Enterprise Architecture.
• Translate business requirements, including application resiliency requirements, into application architectural specifications.
• Propose products and solutions based on the Agency’s Enterprise Architecture and standards.
• Design the architecture blueprint of the organisation’s business, information, and ICT assets using multiple architectural models.
• Use, govern, and enhance the architecture blueprint to ensure the business and ICT are aligned.
• Review source codes and solutions as part of the software development lifecycle process.
• Analyse technical problems, identify comprehensive solutions, and ensure all functional implications are considered before implementation.
• Engage and communicate with stakeholders to present architectural solutions, pitch ideas, and drive alignment across teams.

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in any IT related field.
• Relevant work experience as a tech lead and system architect (i.e. system design, performance tuning, and system prototyping and maintenance).
• Hands-on experience in project development life cycles.
• Able to evaluate and recommend suitable technology while aligning with the Customer’s technology directions (such as cloud-based, enterprise architecture and modernisation of legacy systems, adoption of SG Tech Stack).
• Experience in designing and implementing .NET and/or J2EE applications. Must have strong data modelling and SQL skills.
• Solid understanding of server-side .Net and/or Java development, Service Oriented Architectures, web services, and public web sites / eservices development.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to evaluate options and determine the best solution to a technical problem.
