We are seeking an experienced and proactive Storage and Backup Engineer  to manage and maintain enterprise-level storage and backup infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in  Hitachi storage systems ,  SAN switches ,  Veritas NetBackup ,  Veeam Backup & Replication , and  Huawei backup solutions . This role involves day-to-day operational management, compliance and audit support, and participation in strategic projects.

• Administer and maintain  Hitachi storage systems ,  SAN switch infrastructure , and  Huawei backup environments .
• Manage and monitor  Veritas NetBackup and  Veeam Backup & Replication platforms.
• Perform routine health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Ensure data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies are in place and effective.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and change management related to storage and backup.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure upgrades and migrations.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Support internal and external  audit and compliance activities.
• Participate in planning and execution of  storage and backup-related projects .

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise storage and backup administration.
• Strong expertise in Hitachi storage systems, SAN switch management, and Huawei backup solutions.
• Proficient in Veritas NetBackup and Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes and data protection best practices.
• Experience with compliance frameworks and audit processes.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Hitachi Certified Specialist, Veritas Certified Specialist, Veeam VMCE, Huawei Certified ICT Expert).
• Experience in scripting or automation (PowerShell, Ansible, Shell Script).
• Familiarity with cloud storage and backup solutions.
