Looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Risk & Compliance Executive to establish and maintain the local governance and compliance framework for our Singapore operations. This is an exciting opportunity to build processes from the ground up while working closely with regional headquarters to implement global standards and best practices.

The role focuses on operational governance, quality management, process documentation, and internal controls, ensuring business operations are supported by well-defined policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the local Quality Management System (QMS) and governance framework.
• Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, forms, templates, and other controlled documentation.
• Ensure document control processes are properly managed, including version control, approvals, distribution, and periodic reviews.
• Support the implementation of global governance policies and adapt them for local business requirements.
• Coordinate internal investigations and compliance processes relating to operational incidents, policy breaches, fraud, or other compliance matters, working closely with internal stakeholders, Legal, and external authorities where required.
• Conduct compliance reviews and support internal audits to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor process effectiveness and recommend improvements to strengthen governance, operational controls, and compliance standards.
• Prepare documentation and coordinate audit requirements for internal, external, or HQ reviews.
• Partner with department heads to establish consistent operational processes and promote compliance awareness across the organization.
• Act as the key liaison with regional headquarters on governance initiatives, process implementation, and documentation requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Corporate Governance, Internal Controls, Internal Audit, Operational Risk, Quality Management, or related functions.
• Experience developing or maintaining SOPs, policies, process documentation, or governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS), document control, or process governance will be an advantage.
• Experience supporting internal audits, compliance reviews, or process improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently drive initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and regional teams.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, curious, and comfortable working in a role that requires building processes and frameworks from the ground up.
