Supervisor

Job Duties:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of grounds maintenance staff.
• Oversee turf care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, pest control, and irrigation.
• Monitor and maintain equipment; coordinate repairs and routine servicing.
• Assist in planning and executing golf course setups (tee markers, pin placements, etc.).
• Maintain accurate records of chemical applications, equipment use, and maintenance schedules.
• Manage inventory of supplies and assist with ordering materials and equipment.
• Assist in preparing maintenance schedules and staff rosters.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, environmental standards, and local regulations..
• Communicate with the Golf Course Superintendent regarding course conditions, staffing, and project updates.
• Support budget planning and monitor maintenance-related expenses.
• Provide daily or weekly reports on maintenance activities, course conditions, and staff performance; coordinate with clubhouse management, golf pros, or events staff when needed.

Job Requirements:

• Able to start work at 5am (at times)
• Able to work during weekends or Public Holidays
• Able to work outdoors and at times under the sun
• Able to communicate across language and cultural barriers
• Able to handle hazardous materials such as fertilisers and pesticides
• Able to work as a team
