Software Engineer (ML - Contract)

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the data engineering and analytics field, including Data Science / AI / Machine Learning engineering with a focus on Generative AI technologies
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python,Rust and SQL
• Fundamental coding skills are crucial for developing AI solutions
• Expertise in Generative AI frameworks and libraries, e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, Langraph, llamacpp & OpenAI. Specific expertise relevant to the job role
• Expertise in Data science and machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. Core skills for AI/ML development.
• Strong understanding of data pre-processing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques. Critical for developing effective AI models
• Good knowledge on Prompt engineering techniques and cost optimization strategies for Closed Source LLMs.
• Valuable for efficiency and optimization but more specialized
• Experience in fine-tuning open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Llama 2, Gemma, Mixtral, Phi-2, Orca2,function calling LLMs etc.
• Directly relevantto leading-edge AI projects.
• Proficiency in developing LLM-based RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI services and platforms, with a preference for AWS / Azure.
• Useful but not exclusive; knowledge of other platforms is also valuable
• Good knowledge of Multimodal language models, embeddings, including Llava, GPT-4V, and Gemini. Enhances the capability to work on diverse AI projects but is more specialized
• Experience working with closed-source Large Language Models, e.g., OpenAI, Gemini & mistral.
• Beneficial for working with proprietary technologies but not a fundamental requirement
• Good understanding of embedding models and embedding pipelines.
• Supports specific types of AI applications pipelines with Vector databases & Graph databases. Important for advanced AI applications
• Ability to develop LLMbased agentic workflows to support suitable business use cases. Essential for applying AI to real-world problem
• Experience in LLM model & prompt evaluation.
• Important for quality assurance but can be complemented by broader experience
• Familiarity with LLMops (Observability) for efficient monitoring and management of models in production environments.
• Useful for operational aspects but not a core skill
• Experience with Git and Agile software project management tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines. Necessary for modern software development practices.
• Strong experience in converting business requirement into technical requirement and providing end to end solution flow for AI applications
• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, AI / ML Engineering, Business Analytics or equivalent
