Senior Procurement (Freight)

This role is oversees freight negotiations, cost-saving initiatives, and logistics operations

Responsibilities

  • In charge of contract discussions with ocean liners, air freight providers, and trucking companies.
  • Monitor freight trends, pricing fluctuations, and carrier performance
  • Prepare reports on volume tonnage, KPIs, and cost-saving activities
  • Supervise and mentor procurement staff
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external freight providers
  • Ensure adherence to international shipping regulations and customs requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics, with a background in a freight management company.
  • Proven expertise in negotiation, analytical thinking, and effective communication.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and accommodate occasional travel
