The candidate is responsible for conducting technology audits (IT processes, applications, projects, integrated, and annual SOX audits) and technology advisory engagements. The Audit & Advisory Services function collaborates with technology and risk management teams to provide insights to senior management and the board, enhancing risk management at Manulife.

• Lead and participate in multiple technology audit and advisory engagements, adapting to changing scopes, timelines, and resources in a complex environment.
• Assess the technology control environment independently, providing recommendations to reduce risks and improve decisions.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, governance groups, external auditors, and regulators.
• Lead audits in Asia and collaborate with North American teams on global audits.
• Plan and execute audits, evaluate controls, and produce clear reports on risks and recommendations.
• Perform integrated audits with other groups for comprehensive risk reporting.
• Manage activities like external audits, regulator inspections, and audit planning.
• Undertake special projects as needed, with travel within Asia and occasional night calls with North America.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• At least 6 years in Technology Audit & Advisory, Risk Management, or related areas.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CPA, CISSP, etc.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, DevSecOps, Application Security, Cybersecurity, AI, RPA.
• Business understanding of insurance and asset management industries.
• Analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerBI; Python is a plus.
• Experience in financial institutions technology audits or Big-4 firms is advantageous.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills.
• Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
