Job Description

Retail Sales & Service

  • Set sales target, monitor and consolidate feedback on sales performance/productivity to aid management decision making
  • Review the daily and monthly sales results of the designated areas
  • Work closely with internal departments and vendors on promotional activities
  • Partner with Merchandising team to plan and execute floor moves, merchandise placement and sales set-up
  • Ensure proper presentation, organization, storing, and replenishment of repeat merchandise stock
  • Ensure accuracy of promotional presentation; communicate advertising and sales information to Associates
  • Review and recommend merchandising strategies on product assortment mix, vendor mix, price matrix and trends, with reference to target customer profiles and lifestyles
  • Monitor and ensure service standards are in place, conduct service audits and attend to customer feedback
  • Walk the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues

People Management

  • Lead and motivate staff to maximize their sales potential and sales goals
  • Coach staff to consistently deliver effective selling behaviors resulting in high customer engagement
  • Dealing with staffing matters which include interviewing potential staff; conducting appraisals and performance reviews; and providing or organising training and development
  • Identity innovation and creative deployment where possible, not limited to review and integration of job scopes and get buy-ins from key stakeholders such as HR and staff
  • ·Ensure employee engagement are strengthened across all levels

Inventory Management

  • Managing stock levels and suggest key decisions about stock control
  • Ensure accuracy in Goods receipt and system transactions
  • Generate and distribute stock take reports

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma and proven track records in relevant industries
  • Proficient user in MS office software and POS system
  • Good interpersonal, negotiation, organizational & communication skills
  • Leadership style that inspires motivation and enthusiasm
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Able to work rotating retail work shifts
  • Ability to train, coach, and develop a team of associates
