Regional Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor (Data Centre)

About the role:

Our client is a recognized Integrated Infrastructure Solutions Conglomerate, market leaders in the development and innovative management of a variety of products and integrated supply chain and procurement best practices. They are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their regional team based in Singapore.

The candidate will be part of the Asia Strategy team and a Subject Matter Expert in ensuring effective strategic customer relationship management and optimal supplier management standards, supporting scalable business growth aligned with the businesss strategic plans.

Responsibilities:

• Measure and value work in progress, determine the value of variations ordered by the architect or engineer, and ensure a fair and equitable settlement of project costs in accordance with contract conditions.
• Engage in regular performance reviews with assigned Project Teams, aligning critical Project Construction Costs & Budgeting, including deep diving into Value Engineering for Procurement Cost Related Risks.
• Lead both post and pre-contracts management, including cost analysis based on architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required, and labor involved.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational competency regarding the safekeeping/archival of important Contracts and Technical Specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree with 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Quantity Surveying in a complex data centre environment.
• Proven track record in strategic Quantity Surveying and Contracts Operations management skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to drive process improvements with senior stakeholders.
• Good change management skills to identify and streamline operational processes in line with business growth and strategic contracts negotiations.
• Good understanding of SAP and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred.
