Red Team Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Red Team Engineer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting web application security testing, remediating vulnerabilities, and performing comprehensive code reviews to identify and recommend security fixes. The role requires hands-on experience in performing penetration testing against web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct security assessments and research (manual and automated) of web applications to identify security risks and vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), cross-site request forgery (CSRF), etc.).

• Take part in threat modelling exercises to identify vulnerabilities early in the development process.

• Perform secure code reviews.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to suggest and remediate security fixes.

• Review and validate the effectiveness of security controls and configuration in different Operating Systems.

• Communicate and report security findings

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Web Application security

• Deep understanding of various operating systems with hands-on experience in securing them.

• Ability to script in multiple languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell

• Ability to document findings, prepare detailed reports and communicate complex technical issues to different stakeholders

• Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment
