As part of its Operations, Naval Group Far East Pte Ltd is looking to fill in the vacancy for a Project Quality Engineer.

Job Title: Project Quality Engineer (ref. 1134)

Reporting hierarchically to the Quality Manager and functionally to the Head of Industrial Bids and Project Management Office, we are seeking a Project Quality Engineer for ensuring that Services and all incoming materials, components, and products meet Naval Defence or project such as specific requirements before acceptance and delivery to our customers. The role encompasses quality requirement specification, inspection, testing, compliance verification, supplier quality management, and customer quality assurance to uphold the highest reliability and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

1.    Program Quality and Compliance

• Adapt and complete the general Naval Group Quality Assurance Plan to the specific scope of Naval Group Far East assigned to the Project Manager,

• Develop and manage the Conformity Process Plan (CPP) including oversight and verification of compliance,

• Establish and oversee the Customer Acceptance process adapting the Inspection and test plans to meet project-specific specifications.

• Adapts and manage the Non-Conformity (NCs) process, including handling Customer waivers requests and claims,

• Prepare internal declarations of conformity,

• Support the Project Managers strategy, regularly measure and present quality KPIs, determine improvement actions and develop mitigation plans,

• Assist in defining and executing the program monitoring strategy (Run, audit, etc.), identifying risks and promptly alerting the project team,

• Participate to client reviews and meetings in coordination with the Quality Program Manager,

• Collaborate in developing and executing action to enhance customer satisfaction.

2.   Quality Assurance management

• Supports the QHSE Manager in developing and executing the Business Management System (BMS) quality procedures for operational excellence,

• Perform Quality assessments for critical Bids and evaluate supplier Quality in collaboration with the Procurement Department,

• Apply Company Non-Conformity Management policy and implement quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, Quick Response / Quality Control (QRQC), FMECA, etc.),

• Conduct training sessions, facilitate quality network activities and oversee the Non-conformity reviews, ensuring timely implementation of remedial and corrective actions.
