Production Manager / Head of Production

SUMMARY:

Managing the entire production team, you will play a vital role in leading the production department to ensure smooth daily production operations to achieve department goal and objectives. You should be able to drive productivity improvements and enhancement across the department units. A good understanding of current manufacturing methodologies and the ability to demonstrate leadership management skills will be essential for this role.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Management: Oversee and lead the entire production team to achieve daily output budget, production schedules and quality standards.

• SOP Optimization: Identify and improvise production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize downtime.

• Research and Development: Involve in development of new food products.

• Quality of product: Collaborate with Quality Assurance department to maintain food quality standards and ensuring quality assurance checks are in place.

• Resource Management: Manage manpower cost, minimize and control food wastage to meet production budget.

• Workplace safety compliance: Ensuring that all production activities comply with safety regulations and other relevant industry standards.

• Cross-departmental collaboration: Work with stakeholders and other departments to facilitate and ensure smooth production processes.

Personal attributes

• Excellent of management skills and communication skills will be essential

• Demonstrated ability and experience to work, solve complex problems and drive projects to end goal completions.

Education & experience

• Bachelor studies in Business/ Manufacturing or any relevant studies

• At least 5 to 10 years of managing the production team.

• Good understanding of current manufacturing methodologies and industry best practices.
