IT Manager

The IT Manager oversees the companys technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and alignment with business goals. He/she leads IT initiatives, manages teams, and safeguards data integrity while driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management

• Maintain and optimize servers, networks, hardware, and software systems.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security through regular monitoring.
Oversee cloud services, databases, and disaster recovery plans.

Strategic Planning

• Develop IT strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., AI, cybersecurity tools) for adoption.
Manage mergers/acquisitions from an IT perspective when required.

Budget & Vendor Management

• Control IT budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and procure hardware/software.
Ensure cost-effective solutions and maintain vendor relationships.

Security & Compliance

• Implement cybersecurity protocols (firewalls, encryption) and conduct audits.
• Ensure compliance with regulations (GDPR, HIPAA) and manage data privacy.
Address risks through regular system assessments and updates.

Project Management

• Lead IT projects (e.g., system upgrades, migrations) from planning to execution.
Coordinate cross-departmentally to meet technical needs and deadlines.

Support & Training

• Oversee helpdesk operations and resolve escalated issues.
Train staff on new systems and enforce IT policies (e.g., software licensing).

Policy Development

• Create IT guidelines for system usage, security, and data management.
Ensure adherence to policies across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Education : Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certifications : PMP, CISSP, ITIL, or similar credentials.
• Experience : 5+ years in IT roles, with 2+ years in leadership.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in network architecture, cybersecurity, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and database management.
• Soft Skills : Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.

Work Environment

• May require on-call availability for emergencies.
