IT Infrastructure Engineer Executive

Responsibilities:
  • Design and Build: Design, build, and maintain our clients IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to ensure that infrastructure is scalable and capable of supporting applications effectively.
  • Security Compliance: Work with the security team to ensure that our infrastructure is secure and meets compliance requirements.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot issues within our network and server infrastructure, providing timely resolution.
  • Day 2 Maintenance: Engage in day 2 operations and maintenance, ensuring ongoing performance and stability of the infrastructure.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure architecture, procedures, and configurations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with customers and vendors to understand their needs and ensure alignment with infrastructure solutions, fostering strong relationships to support project goals.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in network and server technologies (e.g., VxRail, Microsoft, Linux).
  • On-Premises Management: Demonstrated experience managing on-premises infrastructure.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Skills:
  • On-Premise Solutions: Experience with on-premises solutions, including deployment and management.
  • Programming and Scripting: Knowledge of programming languages and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Clear Articulation: Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • VxRail and Networking: Familiarity with VxRail solutions and networking concepts.
