HR Executive (Construction Industry)

As an HR Executive, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Partner with Business Units to oversee end-to-end manpower planning, recruitment budgeting, and hiring processes — from developing sourcing strategies and posting job advertisements to pre-screening, interviewing, and conducting reference checks.

• Manage and facilitate the onboarding process, including issuing letters of appointment, applying for work passes, arranging pre-employment medical check-ups, and coordinating with relevant departments.

• Review hiring decisions and prepare salary proposals to ensure fairness and alignment with compensation policies.

• Provide day-to-day HR support to Business Units, including leave and benefits administration, employee engagement, performance appraisals, and retention initiatives.

• Handle employee disciplinary matters and grievances in accordance with company policies.

• Lead recruitment initiatives such as career fairs, campus hiring, and other talent acquisition events.

• Participate in reviewing and implementing HR processes related to manpower planning, recruitment, and compliance with local laws and regulations.

• Review and enhance HR policies related to recruitment and employment practices.

• Contribute to Ministry of Manpower (MOM) surveys and other statutory reporting as required.

• Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years experience in managing recruitment

• Well-versed in the Singapore Employment Act and possesses strong knowledge of general HR practices.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
