Our client is a renowned leader in the maritime industry, with a strong reputation for driving connectivity across markets through its global networks. As part of its digital transformation roadmap, the organisation is looking for a Maritime Enterprise Systems specialist to uplift its operational capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities

In this role you will play a critical role in the successful design and implementation of the Maritime Enterprise Systems, ensuring its timely delivery within budgets. As part of a high performing team, your role will involve:

  • Enterprise System Development: Lead the development lifecycle including design, development, impact analysis, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to gather business requirements, identify areas for process improvement, and propose effective technical solutions

  • System Upkeeping: Manage and maintain enterprise systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance in support of business operations.

  • Implementation and Training: Drive successful system adoption by supporting user testing, creating documentation (e.g., user guides, release notes), onboarding users, and delivering training sessions.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelors degree holder in Computer Science / IT with more than 6 years of experience in the maritime industry developing and managing Operation / Enterprise Systems,

  • Possess working knowledge of Oracle databases and PL/SQL, with experience in full-life cycle software development

  • Strong communication skills, with good stakeholder management.
